The Indo-Caribbean Federation hosted it 4th Annual Thanksgiving luncheon for the Seniors at the United Adult Care Center in Richmond Hill, Queens on Saturday November 23rd.
The event was attended by over one hundred and twenty five seniors from the Community that attends the Center weekly.
The Federation wish to thank the staff at the Center for their tremendous work and also to the people that has been supporting this annual event, Coffee Distributing Corp, Mennon Ramroop of the Guyana Times, Sase Singh from Laparkan, Mohabeer Records, Dr Vijai Lilliah of Queens Advocate and Resource Center, Stanley Raj of Main Street Insurance, Lisa Edoo of Memvar Realty, Hafiz Ali from Rockaway Roti Shop, Shanta from Divya Flowers. We wish to thank the following ICF Executives for their contributions Sherry Williams, Vanessa Matura, Son Son Sonipersaud, Jasodra Thakoordeen, our thanks to all the volunteers Shereen Ramotar, Devi Singh, Miss ICF 2019 Queen Heema Singh, Dr Preyanca Oree, Christine Ramotar Gluck, Anna Ramoutar, Anoeska Matura, Ariel and Chenil Tamesh and Jasmattie Oree.
The seniors was entertained by Arvin Sounds and beautiful songs from Vanessa Matura, Jasodra Thakoordeen, Son Son Sonipersaud and Lalachand Rafi Singh. A guest performance was rendered by the ICF queen Heema Singh. It was a fun filled event once again by the Federation. The President of the ICF thank Mr. Stanley and Miss Bibi from the United Center for their great hospitality and assured the Center of the ICF commitment towards this event in the future years.
