KINGSTON, Jamaica, Aug. 23, CMC – The police have made a breakthrough in the murder of a former vice principal of a corporate area high school earlier this year.
The police report that two men have been arrested and charged with the April 9 murder of Colleen Walker, 53.
Charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition are Randy Raymond, 33 and Michael Small, 31.
The police report that on the afternoon of April 9, Walker was in her garden, when she was attacked by a gunman who shot her multiple times to the upper body.
She was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The police said the charges come after extensive and coordinated investigations were carried out by detectives assigned to the St Andrew South Police Division and the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s Communication Forensics and Cyber Crime Division.
The men will appear in court at a later date. – CMC
