At its monthly meeting on Monday October 1, 2018, The Richmond Hill – South Ozone Park Lions Club (RHSOP) presented awards for “Dedicated Service” to officers of the NYPD.
In the presence of member Lions and several officers of the 102 & 106 Precincts, District 20 K-1’s Governor Lion Audrey Doorn made the presentations to PO Frank Lasalla, NCO attached to the 102 Pct.’s Sector A, and to PO Michael Petrizzo, NCO attached to the 106 Pct.’s Sector A.
The District Governor congratulated the Officers and thanked them for their dedicated service in keeping us safe. Lion President Romeo Hitlall also thanked the Officers for serving with dedication and pledged the support of the RHSOP Lions to the community Policing initiatives implemented by the NYPD.
The Club plans to make presentations on a regular basis to officers of the NYPD & FDNY who will be selected for their outstanding community service.
