NEW YORK — Miss World 2017 Manushi Chillar from India has announced that she will be gracing the South Asian Women Empowerment Gala 2018 to be hosted by Bindu Kohli in New York next month.
This black tie gala event, billed for March 7th, is title-sponsored by Premal Badiani.
“Today women have excelled in all domains and we have a lot to learn from each other. We believe in our uniqueness, and we are happy to be part of this event showcasing women who have made a big difference,” Badiani stated.
Manushi Chillar won the coveted title, seventeen years after it was won by now popular actress Priyanka Chopra. Prior to that, actress Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan won the title in 1994, becoming the first Indian to win the Miss World title.
Bindu Kohli, a household name on the East Coast, is a well-known television host and a promoter of high quality events. She hosted actress Shilpa Shetty last year on a tour of various cities in US, with multiple events to celebrate women empowerment in USA.
“This premium event will be ideal to present and felicitate Miss Manushi Chillar in USA amongst high profile guests and several women achievers in USA,” said Bindu. “I believe in quality and class and I am sure to make it a memorable event,” she added.
Bindu Kohli Entertainment is an event management and production company based in New York. Some of the others proud sponsors of this event are Shaheen, Leonard Palazzo, Munawar and Andrews-Santillo LLP and AR Helping Hands, to name a few.
