On the evening of Friday March 8, 2019 at Royal Palace in Richmond Hill, Kali Travel and Tours hosted an evening send-off and farewell reception (familiarity session) for its group of travelers leaving for India, Sri Lanka and United Arab Emirates (Dubai).
The group departed for a tour of India on Saturday March 16. There are also extensions or separate itinerary for some travelers to UAE and or Sri Lanka totaling the group to 48 passengers. The main feature of the India trip would be the Holi (Phagwah) celebration in Jaipur (Pink City). Off course, tourists will also explore much of India visiting monuments, religious sites, and having an opportunity for a holy dip.

The tourists engage in sightseeing of Delhi (including the majestic Akshardam Temple) and then head for Haridwar and Rishikeshi, Agra (Taj Mahal) Jaipur (Pink City), Amber Fort, Fetehpur Sikri, Gandhinagar, and Mumbai. Some members of the group will visit South India including Chennai, Madurai, Rameshwaram, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sri Lanka.

At the evening send-off and farewell reception (familiarity session), were several prominent individuals from the American and Indian diaspora including Miss India New York 2017, Shivangi Maini, TV and radio emcee, program host, Imran Ahmad of QPTV, Kal Ke Baat , ITV and Guyana Tunes Radio, Farouk Rahaman, community activist, Pandit Narotam Narine and Devi Narine of Shree Maa Gourie Ganesh Bhavan, Deacon Charles and Annette Jordan of First Baptist Church of Crown Heights, Pujari Anil Mangal of Shri Maha Kali Devi Mandir, Inc., and Seeta Panday a popular singer of Indian songs, who is also their tour leader. Also present were the family of Kali including: his widow, Judy, daughter Romanee (director and dance artist), son Nadesh, sisters Shobna Tomescu and Juliet Tajeshwar, and brother Prem Kalicharan, and sister-in-law, Ackey Kalicharan.
