Neighborhood Safety Meeting in Richmond Hill on Tuesday Oct 3rd 2017

Get to Know Your Neighborhood Coordination Officers

QUEENS, NY — Neighborhood Policing is changing the way the NYPD keeps your neighborhood safe.

According to the NYPD, “Neighborhood Coordination Officers (NCOs) are assigned to and remain in a sector, or neighborhood, for the duration of their tour. Additionally, NCOs are given the time and flexibility to make strong bonds with the community they serve.”

This, according to the NYPD, is a new way of doing business “and we need your help to make it work. We want to hear from you about what it will take to keep your neighborhood safe.”

The NYPD is encouraging New Yorkers to go its website and search for upcoming meetings in their neighborhoods, and attend the meetings “to make sure your concerns are heard and your questions are answered.”

The 106 Precinct NCO’s Sector C will be having their quarterly Neighborhood Safety meeting in Richmond Hill on Tuesday Oct 3rd 2017, at the Queens Library off Liberty Ave and Lefferts Blvd (103-34 Lefferts Blvd.). Doors open at 4:30pm. Meeting starts at 5:00pm.
