Community Advocate and former District leader Albert Baldeo is calling on the new Biden administration to have all Americans vaccinated before his first 100 days in office.

“All American lives must be saved as the first priority.”

Team Baldeo is also calling on everyone to increase the fight and spread the awareness about the death throes of the COVID-19 in zip code 11419, covering Richmond Hill and South Ozone Park, including outreach in the community and on social media.

This community has the highest positivity rate in all of Queens, at 15.81%. He has mobilized and partnered with business, religious, professional, labor, civic organizations and residents, and provided free masks, shields, sanitizers and safety equipment to fight the pandemic. He is making a special plea to restaurants and stores to stop overcrowding in the makeshift sidewalk tents, because people dining together, and social gatherings, are the main reasons for the dangerous increase.

Baldeo is also calling on the Mayor and Governor to work together and provide more vaccines from the federal government. “They can start by pushing the federal, state and city governments to allocate more vaccines and resources to stem the virus, and help small businesses, laid off workers, homeowners to avoid foreclosures, and tenants to survive this unprecedented crisis. We can see light at the end of the tunnel, or the rainbows appearing in the sky. Help all communities get to the finish line. Resorts World is a welcome addition to the list of vaccines sites, but what good is it when there are not enough vaccines?” Baldeo pleaded.
